Badging and Certification Project identifies training development roadmap and program branding


The Badging and Certification Project will provide on-the-job professional development opportunities for Ohio University employees through new learning opportunities recorded in Blackboard. The first badges and certificate are expected to be available summer 2018 with the full program launching during the 2018-2019 academic year.

Open Budget Forum presentation available


University leaders hosted three Budget Open Forums last week to share information and provide dialogue about the university’s budget decision-making process. The open forums provided an opportunity for all OHIO employees to learn about our budget process and ask questions.

Bobcat Weathervane


There are two new bobcats overlooking the Athens Campus.

Although they don’t pay tuition or work on campus, they do serve a purpose. They let you know which way the wind is blowing.

Shortly before Homecoming weekend, Facilities Management and Safety staff installed two new bobcat weathervanes on campus.

Financial System Enhancements conversion progresses


As previously communicated to campus, the FSE enhancements will be live on Tuesday, Dec. 12. On this date, systems will be available for use and we will being fully utilizing the new chart of accounts. A communication will be sent on Tuesday morning notifying the campus community that the systems are available and how to access resources and support.
