Sustainability Marketing - Professor Colin Gabler


Climate scientists recently predicted the planet will reach catastrophic temperatures because of global warming as early as 2030, if current trends continue. In response to data, sustainable practices aimed at protecting the environment are becoming more common in all facets of life. 

Annual ReBike Sale


The Office of Sustainability will host the ReBike Program at 2:30 p.m. Thursday, April 18, outside the Walter Hall Rotunda as part of the Reuse & Repair Fair and Earth Day Celebrations. ReBike is a “first-come, first-served” sale of “as-is” bicycles salvaged on the Athens Campus.

Ohio University’s Office of Sustainability and Voinovich Zero Waste Initiative will host their annual Earth Day Celebrations on April 18.

Dr. Theresa Moran, the OHIO Office of Sustainability’s new Sustainable Living Hub Coordinator, will discuss her Hub initiatives at the third Sustainability Hubs Seminar at 5 p.m. Tuesday April 16, in Baker University Center’s Front Room.

The annual Benefits Open Enrollment period is scheduled to begin the afternoon of Monday, April 15, 2019.  The enrollment period is scheduled to close on Wednesday, May 8, 2019.
